Mid Louth Youth Service

Established in 2017, MLYS began by delivering youth work programmes and supports for young people across Mid Louth. Our mission has always been to provide safe, inclusive spaces where young people aged 8–24 can build confidence, develop life skills, improve their wellbeing, and reach their full potential.

Based in Dee Hub, Ardee, with a second location at The Coach House, Dunleer, MLYS delivers the Deeside Youth Project, providing a range of youth work programmes including Youth Cafés, targeted supports for young people, after-school groups, health and wellbeing initiatives, leadership and volunteering opportunities, and programmes that respond to local needs.

In December 2025, Mid Louth Youth Service was awarded UBU- Your Place, Your Space funding through the Louth and Meath Education and Training Board (LMETB) and the Department of Education and Youth to deliver the Deeside Youth Project. This milestone has enabled us to expand our services beyond Mid Louth into North East Meath, bringing high-quality youth work to even more young people and communities.
